If members have a Facebook and are willing they should post the petition on their wall, assuming their Facebook friends would sign it. I already see the Forbes link about it being scheduled soon being posted by pages angry with yet another stupid DEA scheduling so it wouldn't take much effort to post the petition link in the comments.

Another petition ---   Remove the power of scheduling from the  dea  ---   https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/remove-power-scheduling-dea

Sadly it looks like this is the end of kratom,  The dea's not going to cancel their order of intent, and congress is not going to act in 30 days

Saddly this will do immediate harm to so many ex-addicts as most will go back to traditional opiates/opioids, RC's herion ect.

Hmmm,  are you guys going to call the dea to cut down your tree's ?

It's ridiculous. Remember though that private plant collectors and users will mostly disregard the rules. They can't police us all.

Yep, looks like the government of the people by the people and for the people has been taken over by government employees.

I think it would be funny if they were suddenly bombard with calls about removing plants on the 29th

29th it's legal 30th at 12.01 its a schedule 1 . . .

If I lived in florida I would be calling telling them to remove unwanted tree's of my property, any tree's im not botanist neither are they and im taking no chances

Let's just say hypothetically someone were to actually contact the DEA saying: "Hey I've got a few mature Kratom plants on my property can you come remove them before the deadline?". Would they actually spend taxpayer money to cut those plants down? What if they were to get an influx of people making requests like that, so many to the point they end up running out time before deadline to fulfill all the requests made? Would they criminally charge those people who admitted to having it on their property or let our slide since they tried to have removed properly?
