I am from Brazil (and my english is poor). I practice some entheogenous experiences and cultivate some psychoactive plants.
I decided to join in this forum to trade some plant species and enhance my knowledge about plant cultivation.
I am a member of Brazilian Etnobotanic forum called Plantas Enteógenas (https://plantasenteogenas.org/) with same nick (EIRN).
Lets illuminate the world with sacred plants!

thank you for joining us, and don't worry about your english. There's many people here who don't speak english as their native language (me included) and there's also at least two active and respected members I can think of who speak portuguese as their mother language. Eventually, if the community likes the idea, we might even open a section for non-english discussions.

For any questions you have to get started in the community, please check our Rules and FAQ sections. And of course, ask away if you have any doubts.

I know many STS members would be interested in a variety of Mimosa species, and Mimosa conservation: if you have some local Mimosa plants, it would be awesome if we could share some of those to the community. I have some Mimosa tenuiflora seeds, but am interested in a variety of species and genetics of entheogenic Mimosas.

I would love to join other entheogenic botanical exchange forums, however, I can only understand english. Your english is great; much better than my spanish, or portuguese

I look forward to sharing my seeds with you, and I hope you stay here at STS.

About Mimosa, I have only M. tenuiflora. At the moment I have no seed, but in the next flower season I will have.
There is other Mimosa (here is called Jurema) used for spiritual purpose, M. ophtalmocentra.
There is lots of species called Jurema, all mimosoidae species, but another genera.
Native people use Jurema in diferent way then us (non indigeonus peolple), i drunk Jurema with Kariri-Xocó indians...it was not a visionary expirience lika ayahuasca.....
Any way, a live far from the place were Jurema grows naturaly, and people only sell M. tenuifolia seeds...there is no comercial interess in M. ophtalmocentra....I want this too.
Were I live (São Paulo) there is a Mimosa, but there is no information about any use (M. bimucronata)..if you want, I can send you seeds (I will need harvest some seed).

I do not list all plant that I have...in other moment I will complet the list.

I am interested in all species that are called Jurema, including Mimosa bimucronata and Mimosa ophthalmocentra. It would be especially good if I knew the species names, for taxonomy and cultivation purposes 

I'm also interested in Brugmansia suaveolens. No rush, and if you'd like seeds in return, just let me know which species; no limit on how many kinds.

Mimosa bimucronata is not a Jurema...it is just a same genera specie, and is the only specie that grow naturaly near me.
My Brug is flowering at this moment, but I do not see fruits....I used stem cuttings tecnique.
If you want, I can send you a stem cutting. Must be a 20 cm piece.

I am looking for Chaliponga seeds (Diplopterys cabrerana) and Virola theiodora or calophylla.

Welcome to STS! I've never seen any of the brugmansia I grow set seed. If you do have any luck finding virola or chaliponga seeds, please spread them around. I would love to get ahold of seeds for either of those and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Hope you enjoy your time here.
