just today i noticed part of the leaf edge near the tip is starting to turn brown.
i haven't been watering too often, and the soil is decent.
my only guess is too much sun (many plants require shade cloth in this area), or not enough humidity.
as i type now, the humidity is 84%, but it is night, and the humidity lowers during the day.
the average humidity for this week is 59%.
i have no clue how much humidity is required, and found no detailed sources (not that i spent hours looking).
so i filled a shallow bowl with gravel, and filled that with water, and set the pot on top. supposedly evaporating water will keep the pot more humid (i am skeptical, but if it works, its an easy solution).
and i moved it into a shady spot (where the morning glory and peppers are growing).
will this solve the problem?
or is it something else?
