Welcome Medicine Man!  What plants are you interested in and are you growing them?

Hah. It's good to be here. I have no inkling of who you really are.  ;D

In Sydney, AUS at the moment. But going to relocate to Rangamati Bangladesh. A tropical climate.

As for plants, I need to grow a lot. Food, entheogens, traditional herbal medicines. Trying to live off the land, and not relying on civilisation once I leave.

Admirable ideal but does it include giving up modern conveniences like Internet as well?  ???

I was thinking that it would be interesting to hear about your future adventures in Bangladesh but that supposes you'll still be posting on STS.

It does include giving up modern conveniences. Everything, from internet to electricity to hot water. If I want hot water, I'll have to heat it myself. Luckily for me, I like cold showers.

I won't be in contact with anyone except my cousin, who will be my only link to the outside world. He will post my writings on my behalf on STS's sister site. Knowing him, he'll probably upload pictures of my writing instead of transcribing it.

Ha, Great to see you here Medicine Man!
I gotta find time to check in more often it seems.
Any luck you should have a decent collection by the time you head off.

Sucks, but AU-OS trade isn't cost effective or reliable anymore. Aussie trade encouraged, especially for cactus, dragonfruit, and colour fruited columns.

Had to look up that word - en·the·o·gen
enˈthēəˌjen,-jən/
noun
plural noun: entheogens
a chemical substance, typically of plant origin, that is ingested to produce a nonordinary state of consciousness for religious or spiritual purposes.

That's kind of how i inferred it with my into.   Welcome Medicine Man = what you're doing is great and then to the land for self sufficiency.   Good stuff - i need to stay in society and keep some conveniences and pay some bills - i live like you will later, but in a city.
