Good Growing, to all you share-the-seeds.me forum members!

I got ahold of this site through a very ambitious Cacti-grower in my community, and although he told me he is not a member of this site, he mentioned it could be very useful to me. I have been part of a lot of forums during my interwebz, most of them were related to something that I found myself passionate about at that time and wanted to share and exchange knowledge.
This time I believe to be appearing as an apprentice, since my green thumb ain't that well developed, so I guess i'll start off with a little bit relevant information about myself

*edit* After looking through some other introduction posts, I kind of felt like I was going into too much detail with my personal life, so I edited it out, nobody wants to be bored! :) *edit*

Quite recently I started to take interest in more specific plants, like certain sages, cacti, nightshades and other's that prove to have a positive effect on humans. When I learned about all those that are remedial but won't grow in Germany, due to climate I was a little bit disappointed at first and gave up the notion on propagating some of these species here. I settled with a really healthy San Pedro - Cacti from Peru, which has grown almost 30 cm's by now!
I plan to graft a peyote on top of it, once I cut of the top to make a cuttling, but for now the tip looks too divine to me, wouldnt want to hurt that!

I read something about a wishlist, that new members can submit... I'll just put an excerpt into here, so you guys know where my interests for the future are and if you can reccomend me similar plants maybe

I would like to grow:

Calea Zacatechichi
Atropa Belladona

A sage called: "The shepherd mary" or any name that stands in correlation with sheep and holy mother mary. It is said to be healthy when you drink it as a tea, I hope it is clear by my vague knowledge, what I mean.

Scutellaria lateriflora
Leonitus Leonorus           
Verbascum


So, I guess this is it for me! Hello to all of you, and I hope you accept me as a valuable member of your community, since I dearly want to share my knowledge aswell as seeds once I obtain something that others would like to have! In my opinion every plant deserves to be spread by human hand.

We have a lot of cacti knowledgeable members who will be able to help you with the cacti questions.
Please, do not discuss consumption or preparation of what you want to grow, its fine to grow and report about and trade seeds and cuttings on this forum. But no discussing preparation or consumption or trading material meant for that please.

Haha, yeah, we get that a lot

At first I was confused, since I dont plan to consume my cacti, but I guess you are refering to the tea? I can understand that, and will edit it out.
I dont believe it could tempt some people to try and make potentially dangerous or even illegal tea-blends (which I dont reccomend), but I can understand that it may be misleading :) thanks for the clarification

The tea and medicine references please. Its not my rules so "something is said to be healthy when consumed as tea" -> folklore -> legit.
A member planning, reporting or discussing preparing or consuming something not solely for its nutritious value -> not legit.

You can always refer to the FAQ and Rules if anything is not clear :)

Also you know Im as interested in kicking a ball as in ... socialism maybe ? Maybe even communism.
There is a reason why humans developed the upright posture: So they can put their hands to use. Kicking a ball to pointlessly move it somewhere when you could do way better with your hands is like denying much of our evolution :D

Soccer might be the single most dumb and pointless sport in the world... I can't think of a sport that deserves more despisement then one where the only physical act is running, in a different set of intervals; and kicking a ball... with 22 Players on the field. Olympic Gold Medallist are far superior Sportsmen in EVERYTHING that soccer players do, except kicking a ball. Football Trickers are better too, they are better at handling their balls, word. but normal soccer is just brainwashing for the masses.
Nasa shot a Rover on Mars, several Lightyears away without physically seeing their target and some guy gets XX Million $ every year for kicking a ball into a square with relatively huge size, and with some guy, I mean none of the guys on top get paid below the million mark. So screw these opportunistic scumbags, profiting of a brainwashed gullible society, governed by the same forces that created this pile of hooligan sh**, raising their children in their mindless cheering ways untill nobody knows what good sports are anymore.

Maybe Bubblecat shares the same discontent for german culture, that I carry :D

I wear my lederhosen proudly :D (probably I'm a submarine bavarian tho, wearing them a few times a year) No honestly I don't dislike any culture, national global or a minorities, but I must not participate in everything, no matter how closely I am linked or not.  But I share your opinion of the sport we are talking about. And also witness the same effect it has ... amd honestly if I could choose between watching someone else play on TV and play myself I'd always choose playing myself. Not actually getting watching others have fun (or not) if I could just have it myself, even more in case of chubby guys watching and complaining about a performance that is way better than what they themselves are capable of :D

Did I mention drinking beer and eating white asparagus ? Well, if a thing suits me I'll do it, no matter if its my or someone elses or no culture at all.

Poor Gnosis ... but next time we want to piss him off we could just argue german soccer with him, all hail german soccer !

Two Things:

1st) Sparghel (sic?) is awesome, in soup, stir fried, raw, or pickled.  That is something I wish my culture copied.  I wonder if other veggies could benefit from excluding chlorophyll?

B) What really tripped me out about a German football match was that I was the only one disturbed by the little guy at the podium shouting stuff only to have the crowd repeat in unison...  still i understand that sport is healthier distraction than war, it just made me feel weird.
