To be short and to the point, I was checking on seedling trichs earlier and had one of my pereski grafted guys display what appeared to be 'mini-pups' around the base where it grew out of the pere. This thing is very tiny and so were/are the 3-4 little 'pups' . These things looked just like seedling cacti but I don't really believe they are but don't really know what else they could be...

Is it possible to have a seedling pup? What else could it be that I am seeing? I see no remnant of seeds attached to these guys but haven't moved more than one which quickly fell into the soil under the grafted cacti. I will get pictures up when able, I am sure these aren't seedlings as I could not have possibly had them all pop up so late on a graft that I made and continuously observed for growth. Either way I am curious to know more about pupping and if this did pup, what do I do with the VERY LITTLE fellas?

The white stuff is slight cobweb mold, I would hit it with peroxide but am not sure what these little guys are yet, they just look like little cacti to me, the grafted cacti is only 2 inches tall, not counting pere, is this really pupping? I had 3 of the little things on but knocked one in the soil, any ideas?

Could be pups or could be chimera growths.
I knock those off as soon as I safely can, pups there will only detract from more useful growth and chimeras between Pereskiopsis and anything outside of the Opuntia family are unstable and wont stay chimeras for long anyway. I've tried to grow such chimeras out before, in the best case I got a blob the size of a small walnut before all the peres cells died and the blob got covered with Ariocarpus heads

May also be pere leaves, hard to tell from the pics though. Do they look to be more on the stock or scion?
