Hello world!
« on: October 28, 2014, 02:49:43 PM »

Hello everyone! New to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I work at a coffee shop, and im a young male. I recently started getting into growing and indoor gardening. I really like cacti. I have 4 pachanot, 1 penis cactus and a big 10 foot tall house cactus. I didn't know much about cactus when I got the pachanot's and was pretty disappointed when I found out.. Im here to learn as much as I can and hopefully have better luck in the future  :)  Enjoy your day, thanks for reading - SlowGrow

Welcome to STS Slow Grow!

Be sure to check out the Rules and FAQ area to get a feel for what's expected here at STS. Here's a welcoming thread: http://sharetheseeds.me/forum/index.php?topic=16.0

What other plants are you growing currently? Have you looked into growing Acacias?

Sorry to hear about the PC-pachanoi. But they're still great cacti. My first 6 or so cacti were all PC pachanoi as well :)
Here's a great thread on IDing PC vs. Non-PC pachanoi:

That's a great penis plant.

Welcome to STS,
Hcc

Hy man,

My first cacti are PC pachanoi, and recently bought Peruvianus, which is actually cuzcoensis...Absolutely normal.

Here we have the opportunity to collect many species, including the ones we really want to...

Welcome

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the replys and the warm welcoming. To happycon I am also growing aloe and some chilli pepper plants. I haven't looked into growing acacias but might check that out, I really wanted to expand my collection. I would love any ideas on good beginner plants and a point in the direction of their seeds. Thanks again, have a great day. - SlowGrow

hmmmmm, they're all good beginner plants really. Each one teaches you something new about growing plants :D

but for complete ease:
Acacias
Phalaris
Cacti

Indoor, unless you live in Sub-tropics:
P. viridis.

What kind of a climate do you live in? What part of the world?
