How to produce seed from salvia d.

I've a couple year old salvia from here, thank you, and this winter when I brought it indoors it has produced one small beautiful flower .

Is there a standard method for theses? For producing seed. Eg wiggling a paint brush inside ? Q tip?

And tried and true approaches ?

You probbaly can't do alot besides making sure you have a healthy plant.
