Growing Lovely Plants by the Beach in the Bay Area

Hello from the San Francisco Bay Area! My magic plants adventures started last year when a wonderful person sent me 16 baby cactus. I’m always looking for the next addition to my garden (and devising how to keep it away from my three cats).

One of these days, my downstairs neighbors will ask me why I have so many of the same kind of cactus. I will tell them they are not in fact the same kind of cactus; they’re all different varieties, and by the way, they all of have nicknames, too... This one is Shibari-cactus, this one is Musclestick, and this one... 😄 They will never ask again.
