« on: January 10, 2019, 12:44:49 AM »

Hey guys im new here! Well im from Texas zone 8b.

Indoors i have some Caapi Mckenna "RED" Strain and Psychotria "Nexus".

I plan on starting some acacia seeds around the end of February. I'm interested in plants that i can plant outdoors in my zone.

Anyways i love plants and i am happy to be a part of this community. 😁

Welcome friend!

Nexus is a great addition here and many people (myself included) are looking to start some.  Im also interested in how you deal with the relative dryness of Texas, as even here in the much more humid NC I have to be careful.

Looking forward to sharing more, take care,
Ian

Welcome! I’m from TX, but in Florida now. I reckon he can manage Texas dry heat with shade and lots of water.

Well the part of Texas I'm in isn't really dry, as long as they are watered regularly and put in a place with partial shade they seem pretty happy outdoors. With it being winter time right now I have them indoors in my sunroom with some fluorescents.

The winters here are pretty mild I'm actually considering planting a few clones Outdoors to see how well they do surviving the winter.
