Unidentified Seedling
« on: March 21, 2018, 01:12:24 AM »

So I received some seeds earlier this month from STS,  these were extra seeds and were not expected but hey who doesn't love extras.  any how these seeds were not labled.

I'm at a loss as to what they could be.    I have some pictures of the young week old seedlings but at the moment I don't gave to pictures of the seeds but later this evening I'll post some seed pictures.

of anyone can help with an ID of this plant is be greatly appreciative

I am guessing your guess is correct!  Sweet really wanted this plant as I am very facinated with moving plants.......  will fit in nicely with my Mimosa Pudica.

Again thanks Jeepster and Koacacia for your generosity!  and ONandOnandON for your help IDing these seedlings

Your welcome! The plants put off a lot of seeds, but they always die after seeding. Does anyone know if that is normal?

Some plants seem to be designed to die after they fullfilled their life goal and produced offspring ie seeds.
Same with some animals, mostly smaller ones.

Maybe it is some evelotionary benefit to having a short lifecycle.
