Earthworms
« on: December 16, 2016, 04:34:27 AM »

I had a question that my friend actually presented and it is this: when our kratom plants are large enough to transplant into a 5 and then 10 gallon pot could it be possible to add earthworms to our soil within the pots so that they can add natural fresh castings and amend the soil? Has anyone attempted this or have heard it before?

I don't know about them being actually in the soil in the pot other than it happens naturally in my outdoor potted plants. What I can say is that worm castings totally work like magic!

I know I love worm castings! I am just trying to find out if I am able to introduce a few earthworms into the soil so long as my plants are in 5-10 gal pots would they survive in there?
