I have lurked around what threads I could all afternoon before registering. I obviously am a new member and this is my first post but I feel right at home. I chose not to use much technology the last couple years and I didn't know communities like this existed. I will be honest, I am here in hopes of future seed trades but I hope to contribute more than that! I was raised in the country and have always felt drawn to plants and nature. I attended a career center and took horticulture as my major. I then took greenhouse management at OSU. I never seemed to find my place in the greenhouse community and after graduation i found myself working in a steel mill i hated and not one green plant in my home. It has been a several year uphill battle remembering who I am since I left that job. I discovered ethnobotany as a small hobby and have been in love ever since. I love learning about how plants shaped human history and how they were used. I believe I have babbled long enough. I hopefully left a conversation starter or two in there. I couldn't be more enthusiastic to become a member! Thank you for having me!
