May I present my backyard Passiflora caerulea

Started as a Passiflora edulis grafted to a Passiflora caerulea aka 'wild passiflora' - the P. edulus eventually died but the P. caerulea continued to thrive.

Sucks, but AU-OS trade isn't cost effective or reliable anymore. Aussie trade encouraged, especially for cactus, dragonfruit, and colour fruited columns.

This species a mild analgesic, cholagogic, antimicrobial, oncostatic and central nervous system sedative:

  Chelidonium majus

The leaves are lobed and wavy-edged 30 cm long. When injured, the plant exudes a yellow to orange latex.

The seeds are small and black, borne in a long capsule. Each has an elaiosome, which attracts ants to disperse the seeds

Turnera ulmifolia is the main picture. At the top of the pic is a little Turnera diffusa for comparison.
Lots of folks selling "Damiana seeds" on eBay etc are selling T.ulmifolia it seems.

Thats a good question!
When I buy it was label only as "Datura tree"...  but it doesn't look like it.

" Brugmansia differs from Datura in that it is woody, making shrubs or small trees, and it has pendulous flowers, rather than erect ones"

Any help? ???

I'm really not sure which it would be. I'll do some research and try to figure out.

I've seen a datura get as tall as 6 ft and just as wide. I think that datura has leaves that aren't as round.
