Hi there. I was wondering what people would suggest as per the thread title. I have the caapi strains from the giveaway  (thank you sooo much this is awesome). I also have some wild coffee, iboga, and tab sanonho. I believe they are all ready for bigger pots at this time. Based on what you see in the pic, can anyone confirm this? What media shall i use?

Another question is acclimatization. I don't have high enough humidity chambers to do so. I'm aware that caapi can take a little longer. Is iboga and its brethren the same way? The second pic shows the vent openings on my chamber. Can the plants adapt at the same rate?

I can answer only about caapi.
It is time to repot. The seed trail are only for germination. The cell is too small to the caapi roots.
About humidity, caapi don't need it too high. I don't know the numbers, but I think 50% is ok (it means caapi can resist in good condition).

Thought as much. My room is 50-60% rh but the try is 100%. I don't want to surprise them. I can't repot them if I acclimate them slowly, they are too tall.

Recently i transplanter a few and took them out of the propagator, they did so bad on the first night I have them all domes.

Strangely a group I took out but did not transplant before did perfectly well without a dome.

You are probably right. But I think caapi is strong enough to recover fast.
IME fast and strong changes cause caapi to loose leaves, but the plant recover fast. The strenght of caapi is in the trunk and roots.
Healthy roots is the most important thing.

Try one to see what happens!

Any thoughts on iboga and related species?

Iboga:

Add perlite to your soil (I heavily regret I did never do that) and a good drainage layer at the bottom of the pot, transplant it before it goes root bound.

Regarding acclimation: Plastic bag on pot, secure with tape and start poking holes from time to time.

The bogas will appreciate being in their own pots, and added root aeration is a big plus. Those leaves look pretty tender, so keep them in high humidity until the stems get a bit more woody.

I don't know about iboga, but Caapi seems to be very tough, and very forgiving. I ordered one last year and right after, left it out one night and it got down to the mid 20s, it stayed green.
