Now I understaind a litle more about the thanksgiven day but I still have some questions:

what was the menu on that day? and who made the meal, the pilgrims or the natives?

And it was on that day that they smoke the famous "peace calumet"?  ::)

Btw I use a shaped dragon slipper can I join that StS pijama group?

Close, I actually have some self striped silk satin ones but the lad is certainly missing a few attributes, those mainly are:

- velvet slippers
- mullberry coat
- favourite plants
- velvet or wool smoking jacket or cashmere dressing gown
- his loved girls
- ascot or turbular scarf (dont wanna get cold nuh ?)
- hair
- a bed with silk bedding (agent provocateur once had awesome stuff) and sedation ::)

Did I miss something ? Probably but well, details the devil is in the details.

But I finally understood the idea of thanksgiving: It is the day americans welcomed refugees from overseas !  :o

Anyone else picturing the guy from the Heinekin commercials? He doesn't always wear pajamas, but when he does he looks right sexy.

LOL! And look what happened to them - succumbed to the will of the dominator culture.

Seriously folks, we all have more in common than we have differences.  On this thanksgiving day as we deviate from our normal discussions, I'd like to  express a bit of sentiment of what I'm thankful for.

We don't need the dominator mentality.  It has served humanity well with ensuring survival of a fledgling species in a hostile natural environment where competition for scarce resources has been through might rather than right.  However, there is no end to this game of dominator/dominated.

As we observe through history the rise and fall of empires, the dominators always succumb to their own success as the dominated become stronger and rise up to become the new dominator culture.  It make me wonder if it could have been done another way, if there is another way.

So I gave thanks that:
We are all one race - the human race.
We all call the same place home - planet earth.
We all speak the same language when we show respect for others.

The most basic respect for others is to accept that each chooses one's own destiny.  We all have something to share and all have something to contribute and we are all traders to the core.  If we get it right, were on our way to the stars.

My wish for this thanksgiving day is that we get it right this time.  Sorry if this was too long and boring.
Happy thanksgiving to all!

In which way?  I thought your statement was very clever.  Was it something I wrote that was unclear?
