I had a suggestion to increase soil ammonium levels a little but I don't know if that means nitrates or sulfates or? What does one add to the soil to organically increase the ammonium levels? What amendments or additives do I use? Sorry but I am at a loss when it comes to fertilizers. The first thing that came to my mind was diluted urine but hey I am growing indoors so that's a non starter. Thanks for any direction. Best regards mj.

That'll do it for any fast growing plant. -- pretty cheap way to increase nitrogen.  Avoids the urea nitrogen issues too.  Haven't ever used it myself but I think it's a sure way to burn a plant fast if over applied.
