i've tried growing Z. Calea and planted them in somewhat small pots with potting soil and placed them in the row of plants in our drive way. i think the tree prevented them from growing and also i initially planted them during a relatively cold week (spring was just beginning).
unfortunately i'm out of seeds and might try ordering some foilage as someone had sub jested that
i'm also thinking about buying some silene capensis though if i can't find any i might just pm someone about it and see if they have any spare seeds.
but does anyone think that the cold and lighting could have been a part of it? i also buried the little stalk like seeds. they were fairly weird looking in regards to seeds generally lol. maybe i wasn't supposed to plant them like that? maybe i planted them too deeply? are there any specific do's and don'ts for planting Z Calea?
i'm hoping to start growing some silene capensis! but i'm sure they require different growing conditions and such
