Hey all! I've been a lurker on STS for a while now; this is a lovely community and a fantastic resource, and I'm happy to start participating.
I've been interested in plants, gardening, and farming for a few years now, though have little experience with growing my own ethnobotanicals. I've been growing a few ornamental cacti for a few years, and I've been raising some T. Pachanoi from cuttings. I have had some experience growing and harvesting medicinal cannabis as well, and have worked on organic (produce) farms on and off.
I haven't been able to get as involved with a garden as much as I'd like due to frequent traveling, however I plan to settle somewhere in the next few months and pursue my dream of working with plants. I'm in the process of teaching myself basic botany and ecology, and I hope to find a job working in a greenhouse this summer. My long term goal is have my own garden full of beautiful ethnobotanicals, with the hope that perhaps one day I can work with these amazing plants for a living.
Anyways I look forward to learning from you all and sharing what I can. There seems to be a lot of educated and experienced people here with lots of knowledge. So without any further ado, thank you very much for welcoming me to your community and I'm excited to participate!
