I'm not sure if this belongs here but he begins his presentation with a fairly detailed discussion of shifting climatic patterns and their influence on plant range fluctuations (that constitutes plant science in my mind).

I'm only 15 minutes in but it has already proven fascinating. Lophophora surviving conditions of -17 degrees C?! Incredible. Would love to hear what the some of the STS loph growers think about this talk. Huge thanks to Entheogenesis Australis for the high-quality video.

Keeper Trout is very inspiring.  Very amazing person that has done so much to help preserve these amazing plants.  Thanks for sharing this. I highly enjoyed watching it. 

I had no clue they could survive temps down that low.  Personally i would never let mine go below 45 Fahrenheit, but my lophophora are babied. So in other words they are pansies compared to the plants out in the wild.
