Hello from Europe
« on: December 19, 2020, 06:11:26 PM »

Hello everyone,

I'm a Europe-based gardener, in an ethnobotanics-friendly country. So far I'm growing Mimosa hostilis, Catha edulis, Argyeira nervosa, Salvia divinorum, Erythroxylum coca, Echinopsis pachanoi, Ephedra sinica, Ephedra nevadensis, Sida cordifolia, Papaver somniferum, and  Sceletium tortuosum. And sometimes diverse funghi. Mostly because I enjoy the challenge of different and sometimes very special growing conditions...

Next spring I intend to get Kratom and Kava plants. Space permitting :). And maybe a tea plant would be nice...

Hello !

What is your climate like ? Are you able to grow all your plants without weather concerns ?

I am in Los Angeles and trying to locate sources for certain seeds.

What type of tea do you plan to grow ?

Hope to learn more from you.

Hi!

I'm in a USDA 7 zone. So my tropical plants all have to come inside in the winter. Some of them (like Khat) under artifical lights. From May to October everything grows happily outside. I'll have to think about something when the plants become to big to be moved...

Some things, like poppy plants grow excellently around here. In fact, maybe 2h drive from here there are big fields of it :).

My plan for tea is not very detailed yet. Just grow a camellia sinensis and try to make some green tea at home. Tried before with seeds smuggled in from holiday, but they never grew.

Hello.  I come from Vietnam.
I have a small garden of Peyote and Cannabis cactus. I am looking for Erythroxylum and Salvia divinorum seeds.  Can you exchange them with me?

Sorry, but I only trade with people in the EU. Too much effort with shipping otherwise. My apologies.
