Unlikely as they rarely set viable seed. I have a friend who has gotten tons of flowers, but no seeds in the years he's been trying. I've heard Sage Wisdom Botanicals sometimes has them, but he's been out of stock for a while now. I've never gotten any of mine to even flower  :(

as i understand it they must be pollinated manually, did your friend do that?

A user at th shroomery has an outdoor patch he created that’s been flowering for years and finally after years he found some seeds just takes awhile I guess

It has been observed more than once that birds absolutely love to eat the seeds being formed even when you can still see flowers on the thing...
