Salvia roots. When to transplant? How?

Should I cut off the lower stem without any roots or plant it too?

I'd say cut it. Beyond that, it's looking good. Should be fine to plant whenever.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. She got brown at the tip of the plant so I gently plucked it and under it was new green microscopic leaflets forming. I may let her go for another day or two then plant in some soil. Time to find a big enough pot now  ;D

I realize im late to this thread but im wondering, did you cut the cutting above or just below a node at the bottom of that cutting?
I always go just below a node and I have about a 90% success rate. Ive noticed that if you cut just below a node the roots show up pretty quick and get nice and thick.

Either way I hope shes doing well.
