Yes but it is not easy from traditional cuttings. I get about 25% success on several occasions so I stopped propagation by this method and just use seeds. Air layering would be best or seeds. I realize good seed set isn't easy up north and may not be possible.

Air layering is the way to go. I get a very high success rate when I air layer branches from established trees. Cuttings are a waste of time in my opinion.

Basically you make a clone without removing from the tree. Some plants will do it naturally by just being kept most,others will need a ring of bark stripped from the area you want roots to grow. Google it ;)
