 Woolly aphids

Rub your hand over the woolly area and you will sea them jump

Their actually difficult to get rid off, Their woolly coating protects them from most insecticides, Some systematic's work but most avoid them becouse of the general harsh nature

I have them attacking a couple of my sida cordifolia plants. Gonna try cutting out the most affected stems and spraying the rest with olive oil emulsion (about 1 ounce per gallon) + several drops of dish soap to help emulsion. This works well for mites, but I haven't had to deal with these little bastards yet.

Im not counting my chickens just yet but i just sprayed them with a neem oil mixture out of a pretty high powered spray bottle last night and they haven't returned. They took got coated with it before they were able to jump off. I think that might be did it but if not ill have to bring out the big guns so to speak.
It was nice I went out and checked the stem and there were a few ants checking for survivors and i was like "hah! Your buddies are dead ya dingleberries!"
