I planted several mimosa T seeds... 2 sprouted and thrived.
I had them in a mineral based mix. (Mostly oil dri. A cactus mix i made. Its what i had on hand.)
They were on top of my aquarium, so their roots were heated when the light was on. Its a manual switch, so it was pretty irregular. They also had cfl lighting, 23w, from a clamp on lamp.
They quickly outgrew the cup I had them in and at 8", i decided to repot them into a proper soil mix.
I made an impression, added some of the previous soil mix (and mixed a little) and planted the root balls.
I added a bit of rooting hormone to the original pot, and transplanted (as label directions) and capped the soil with gravel asi do with all my plants.
I also moved them to my window.
I opened my window a couple days to expose them, with the hope of moving the pots outside.
Within 5 days, they were wilted and dry. I still water them, hoping, but its hopeless. They are dry to the touch.
Any advice for future crops?
