Phyllomedusa Bicolor
« on: March 03, 2021, 06:51:29 PM »

I'm looking to ethically source a breeding pair of these frogs, can't find them anywhere and the few places that look promising do not distinguish between P. Bicolor and P. Sauvagii, which does not inspire confidence.  Anyone ever care for these/know of a place that sells them? I've got a sweet vivarium setup for them, they'd be right at home with the other plants.

I have a number of exotic pets, reptiles, frogs, etc. This is a project that definitely interests me, my significant other and I have been wanting to get a Phyllomedusa bicolor or other active amphibian species. They have shown me videos of some folks in Thailand? And elsewhere in rainforest-y areas that keep them. I don't know much, but I bet you could feed them the normal stuff and they'd do alright. They're big frogs though, would need a large enclosure to be comfortable I would imagine.

Let me know how this project goes for you, i am highly interested and would love to get a pair of these frogs too!
