I discovered that worms were eating my 4 ribs Bridge from inside.
To be able to fight the enemy, any information about what it is welcomed.

The assailant (2 of them, the bigger was ~6mm):


There were severals of them, from 1mm (hard to see) to 10mm, white translucent, able to move quite fast crawling and also curling on themself and spring at 1 or 2cm.

Looks like a Borer of some sort, moth larvae. They lay their eggs at or just below the soil line and once they are inside the cacti it is almost impossible to save the affected area(s). I lost a couple Lophophora last year from them.

are fruit flies and other flies a big threat to cacti? i know that fruit flies for example reproduce in the soil. at least they dont attack my normal  indoor plants.

worms want to eat
give them some food to capture them
i had the same issue with an aloe
i cutted a piece of potato and put it under the pot which has a hole in an other pot without hole
all worms went on the piece of potato and i saved my plant
you can do it several times to be sure
to be sure you can use warm water to clean the pot witjout hole before to put the pot with your plant in
