In the mean time, I have another plant you might want to add to your grow list some day:
Alepidea amatymbica, aka "Ikhathazo". It's one of the Ubulawu plants - as well as an important medicinal plant - and it's a lot easier to find than
Synaptolepis kirkii. I think it's actually being over-harvested and is now endangered in the wild (and if not, then it's getting there pretty fast), and this is despite the legend concerning it's harvest. Apparently, one can only harvest this plant on misty days in Summer or else your home will be struck by lightning (kind of reminds me of the screaming
Mandragora legend in a way
)
