Hello. I was recommended here by the member FairDinkumSeeds, he told me that this would be a great way to meet new people and add to my plant collection, if all goes well.

I am also hoping to establish a sense of community with like minded individuals as I do not have friends, let alone other who are into plants as much as I am--I am in NYC. Not many plant enthusiasts here from my experience.

I have a work background in vegetable farming and gardening. Plants are a big part of my life, most of my money spent is on plants and health products, haha! I also enjoy medicinal plants and propagating and preserving rare and endangered plants as it breaks my heart to see these green beings die out...for no good reason at all. I also would like to trade seeds or plants with trusted members here to expand and bond.

 I have seen a few roof top gardens out their that were unbelievable,  using the mechanical equipment as heat sources and square foot gardening taken to extremes.
