Thanx for the warm welcome fellas,
Madplanter, I've made so many trades...sorry if I don't recall that one, but glad to see that you've kept it alive and growing and I bet I don't live where I did when I sent that to you........
I've dwindled my cacti down to what I really want to focus on, and keep going. I've got a matucana madisoniorum that I'm really proud of. This thing has got to be 20+ years old, and it looks better than when I got it off of ebay, got it for about 5$ and they found it in an old greenhouse that was being torn down in Indiana, it hadn't been cared for at all.....hell of a score....
I had quite a yote collection, but improper plant groupings caused rot on more southern forms this year...I'm slowly rebuilding with texana's from seed I produce....
So ya, that's another part of me...I do love my cacti.....any cacti thats unusual....and usually endangered....lol.....I have some great pics I'm gonna take of the cacti that are gonna bloom tomorrow. I'll be sure to throw those up somewhere around here....
I also grow morning glories, oliloqui, syrian rue, and have access to unlimited amounts of ephedra plants, in fact ephedra trees(picture attached)...., as well as much prickly pear and cholla cacti that you could want....mescal beans are also to be had....
Again, thanks for the warm welcome fellas, makes me feel at home....
peaces....
