Penelope Roses

Hi folks!

This is one of my first few posts here... and I am not entirely sure if this is in the right area, mods, feel free to move this to the appropriate forum and notify me so that i can find it.

I am interested in some Penelope Roses. Do any members here grow them? If so, would you mind telling me a little bit about your experiences, and any specific needs?

They seem hard to find here in the United States. I would really like to buy some, but it seems that the sources are limited. If anyone does grow them, i would gladly purchase or trade something for some.

"Penelope Rose" is the name of our dog who passed away 2 days ago. We wanted to plant some Penelope Roses at her burial site. It has partial shade, with some afternoon sun, but we can make accommodations to make sure the plant is happy and healthy.

I grow that roses, beautifull flowers.

Not so sure if this is right moment to take a cutting as they are waken from winter dormancy, but we can try  ;)

We are in no real rush, so allow the plant to be clipped  when the time is best for the rose.

We really love the rose, and we love(d) our pup. :)
