Has anybody ever grown Colocasia gigantea? It has HUGE leaves. I want to try growing it!

You peaked my interest, so I did a little digging. One thing is for sure, that plant is going to guzzle tons of water.

Surface area affects water loss, so large leaves will loose water more quickly through their stomata cells located on the underside of the leaf. Depending on the location, leaves in a shady place will often loose less water than those in sunlight; due to possibly lower temperatures, less wind and that shaded leaves will also likely be more sheltered. This means shaded leaves can often get away with being bigger too.

i dont grow it but theres a lot of similar ones near to me.

do you know if it has seeds? i can check if they get seds or smting arround this year.

They do set seeds.  They flower and then produce seed pods.  I'm not sure how that one in the picture produces seeds or if it's even the same species.
