I've had good luck soaking them in water for several hours then planting a few millimeters deep in soil with some perlite added. They seem to grow and begin blooming quick with plenty of sun and a decent bit of water. They don't seem super frost tolerant, and of course they're a vine so plant them near something to grow around.

I always just filed through the seed coat (away from the eye) then put them in soil. Normally got pretty good results like that.

Mix a bit of potting soil with your soil

bury them a quarter inch deep outside and keep them wet till they sprout then forget about them

Give them something tall to climb on they will grow 10-15 feet tall

The more you dont care about them the better they seem to geow for me
