Anadenanthera Bonsai
« on: May 29, 2015, 07:34:04 PM »

So I was kicking this concept around, and thought I might as well share.

I like the idea of growing and harvesting an A. peregrina or A. colubrina.  They can get quite large, so they seem to be ideal candidates for bonsai.  I wonder if it's worth a try to bonsai one and harvest it for seed?

I think it might be an interesting experiment  ;D

If you have any opinions/ ideas/ suggestions, feel free to share!

Please do! I am interested in a lot of plants that get large and space is an issue. I think bonsai is definitely the way to go for some of these.

I can't start for a few months, but I can't wait.  Even though it would most likely take years for it to product anything, it's still worth it  :D

Has anyone else tried/ succeeded at this kind of thing?  Or succeeded with anadenantheras at all?
