im interested in acacias that will grow well in western washington, im specificly hoping i can grow A. accuminata, who knows the cold tolerance on those? or other related info on growing conditions and etc..

Just to name a few more that come to mind:

alpina (near impossible to find seeds)
burkittii
melanoxylon
phlebophylla (near impossible to find)


Also:
greggii
Mimosa aculeaticarpa var. biunicifera

Those 2 are VERY cold tolerant (can handle freezing temps for days on end) but there is very little research on these two in terms of...well you know.
