Post by: GeneQueen on February 27, 2020, 02:57:26 PM
Anyone growing it? Does it take just as long to flower since it's a smaller plant?
i dunno if anyone has found This (http://www.cl-cactus.com/fnfinder.asp?Lang=en&Plant=Lophophora+alberto-vojtechii) site before but it is really cool. It has pictures of wild specimens and it shows you on google maps where the picture was taken.

Actually flowers quicker then the regular lopho. Maybe was just best growing conditions? Lopho take 2-5 years to flower from seed without grafting depending on how "hard" you grow it watering often with nutrients will lead to quicker flowering however will also lead to a bloated looking lopho which I don't like so much... harder grow cacti with low body and blueish flesh rather then green tend to take 3-5 years for flowers but look much better and are much hardier.
