Not sure if this is the right place to post this, or even if its allowed, but i thought it worthy

This cacao is high quality, and supposedly wild from guatemala, fermented and lightly roasted the way the mayans did many years ago.
I bought some and love it!
Its also cheaper, including shipping, than much cacao in my area

The supplier forum is intended for vendors of viable seeds and live plants, so this does not belong there. I'm moving it to the General Discussion section.
Kind regards,
Mandrake

Works for me :)

so the peeled beans couldn't be germinated then?
shame...
-
Once the beans are fermented they are no longer viable. Coco nibs are fermented AND cooked iirc.
I have 3 cocao plants. Most of my cocao seeds I planted got tiny white worms and died.

That's where I bought them^
He shipped them in moist sphagnum moss and most germinated before arrival.

Keiths cacao isnt cooked. Its lightly roasted to preserve its special qualities and to preserve the maya tradition
-
Sorry, by cooked I meant roasted. In any case, fermented beans aren't viable.

Haha no need for apology, just thought id clarify.
Def not anywhere near viable, however you may be able to contact him with an order and ask for some viable seed.
He typically responds quickly and seems to be a nice guy

is there a way to contact him outside of facebook?
-
Email him at (glowtogo at yahoo dot com)
He only accepts payment via paypal.
Also, if you made an order of beans while also expressing some love, imo he sould probably be more inclined to ship you viable seed
-
Cane blossom, did you ever ask him about viable cacao?
