Have anyone tried to make polyploid plants using colchicine?
I'd love to try that but don't know how to get my hands on colchicine. It's sold with prescription only. Colchicum autumnale contains it though so I might buy a few of those :D (not sure if the concentration is sufficient though ofc).

Some medicines for gout contain colchicine.
My opinion is, please let it be because the handling of the pure substance is not without and you should really know what you are doing with there. If you don't know so much from chemie and plants, don't touch it. The stuff is really badly poisonous and should neither be inhaled nor should it get to unprotected fingers.

Yeah, it´s a mitotic poison afterall. I´ll first try to get some colchicum autumnale and use a juice from it if it´s capable of disrupting mitotic processes in the plant.
