Title: viewing attachments
Post by: Ben on May 26, 2016, 05:48:36 AM
I've read quite a few posts that had an attached photo or a posted photo or a pdf attachment.
I don't see a way to see the attachment.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanx!     :>)

Hmmm that's strange... What device are you using to access the forum? And which browser? Is it happening with all the posts or are just a few giving you trouble - and if so, which ones?

Down below the box you write text in there should be "+ Attachments and other options." Clicking on the + should open a box to browse for attachments.

Do you have that?

I was having a problem viewing attachments.  That seems to be for posting an attachment.  Thanks!

How about PMs  --  is there a way to attach a file to a PM?

Not anymore.  Used to be available but not in the new version since the upgrade.  I miss that feature.

I was able to post the pic in the PM by posting a link to gofile.io after uploading to there.  Appears similar to other cloud storage websites.

My first time to use that site, but seemed very quick & easy.  No login or signup.  Basically just upload and they give you a link to a thumbnail (which click for full pic) and a "removal code" which presumably can remove the posted file.

Not as easy as just posting the jpeg . . .

@plantlight - Thanks for your clarifying reply!
