I have been using Trichoderma sp for sometime and have been having fantastic results, especially for root crops. The link below provides a good general description.

Wow! I've never heard about this species of fungi. Thanks for sharing my friend. 

Do you specifically use this in hydroponic settings?

I have used it in hydro systems in the past. Now I am using it in soil crops.

Cool. I'm thinking of using this with my pereskiopsis.  I have a bunch more on the way here and will be doing some grafting.

And to think from previous exploits I was under the impression trichoderma were an enemy I would be stuck in a constant battle with.

I learned something new today
Trichoderma bad for mycological experiments, good for plants.
