This is something I just discovered today. I think it's pretty brilliant, and I wanted to share.

Spectacular! I can see this catching on very quickly! I can easily see myself investing in this system in the future, it saves the bees time wasted on producing wax cells to fill with honey, so it seems like honey yields are potentially higher using this!

Exactly! It also seems like a perfect product for first timers (like myself). Now, I love honey, and I love bees as pollinators, but I had never really seriously considered beekeeping. But when I looked into this, I have started to reconsider my stance. I'll wait and see how it develops (1st generation almost always has some kind of problem), but I've definitely got my eye on it :o

Very cool! Thanks for sharing. +1 :)

I'm always happy to share! You can never have too much knowledge ;D

i have to say, i dont condone this hive design, it interferes with the bees design process and their instincts. you have realize that things designed for human convenience are very likely to be at the cost of the bees. for a healthy hive you want to appease the bees desires not interfere so much...the flow does have one thing right, and that is reducing opening of the hive...anyways i dont want to rant too much here is a link with a little more background info on my favored hive design...https://youtu.be/7n3bEZgo6qU
