Hello from Northern Ohio. I'm a 44 yo herb & veggie gardener quickly getting into all kinds of great plants. A friend recommended this site and it looks great!

I'm looking forward to learning all kinds of stuff and meeting other plant lovers!

For herbs and veggies this year: tomatoes, red bell peppers, chili peppers, onions, potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, chives, pineapple sage, sweet basil

Other plants growing around the homestead: calea, mapacho, passiflora incarnata, patchouli, wild dagga, peruvian & bolivian torch cactus, several mystery cactus, phalaris grasses, elderberries, blackberries, black currants, hastas, daisies, lavendar.... I'm sure I missed some.... but these are the newer additions to my gardening habit

Sounds like you've got quite the garden!

There are plenty of cacti enthusiasts on this forum who could help identify those mystery cacti, be sure to view the Plant Gallery to help identify them too!

Welcome to STS!  I'd love to see pictures of those mystery cactus.  When you've got some time upload them and I'll see if I can ID them.
