Title: Odds for sucess using "green" Diplopterys cabrerana leaves
Post by: Doc_Iggy on August 28, 2013, 05:27:09 AM
I found a source for "green" Diplopterys cabrerana leaves (http://www.alibaba.com/product-free/114312662/Green_Chaliponga_Leaves_Diplopterys_cabrerana.html (http://www.alibaba.com/product-free/114312662/Green_Chaliponga_Leaves_Diplopterys_cabrerana.html)) although I am hesitant to order them as the shipping time, without any delays en route, is eight days.

Does anyone know how long fresh leaves remain viable for propagation after harvesting?

Well i dont know about the viability of the leaves to get a plant, the link you posted say that dry leaves is what they have, they say can picture them, but theres is something that bothers me about this bro:

Aparently botanicumdivinicum has bad reputation arround the scene, he also said he is friends with kiwiboancaya.

Can Diploterys be propagated from leaf cuttings? I was under the impression that they are normally propagated by stem cuts like most Banisteriopsis (Diploterys used to be classified Banisteriopsis until recently). Please let us know.
