Hi,
I was recently donated a small pup by a friend, from what purports to be some kind of Trichocereus species...
It's a lovely looking little plant which I'm currently attempting to root indoors, but I'm not especially talented at identifying cacti this young - does anybody reading this have any idea what it is from the attached photos? I thought it might be a pachanoi, but now I'm not so sure... The williamsii label in the photos is an old one awaiting a new identifier, by the way!
Any help appreciated!

That's a really cool looking cut, I'd say it's a Trichocereus scopulicola or most likely a scop dominant hybrid.
