Title: Germinating Catha Edulis

Could someone possibly help me to understand how one would go about germinating these seeds indoors? I cannot exactly find a straight answer or method online, Some sources say sew into the soil, And some others say surface sew. What should I use as a substrate? Hopefully they remain viable for a while until I can get the proper materials to start them.
