Hello kindred spirits
So excited to be here. I moved onto five acres one year ago in Victoria and immediately erected the poly tunnel and started the garden. I am a naturopath by trade, but a stay home mum at the moment. My true gardening love is medicinal herbs, preferring to grow and make my own tinctures, salves and herbal medicines. I especially love the rarer medicinal herbs, especially anti virals and search the internet constantly to increase my collection.
There have been some herbs that have been unexpectedly elusive (yes I am looking at you horsetail), but it's fun to keep looking.
Anyway, I am vegan and an organic vege grower too, with a new orchard that has sixty young trees. I love flowers, succulents, and have taken an interest of late in ethno botanicals. Basically I will have a go at growing anything.
Looking at buying a still soon for essential oils. Interested to hear from others re this.
Yes I am unashamedly in love with growing food, medicines and eye candy plants, and especially love the weird and wonderful.
Look forward to sharing whatever I can with others.

Nice intro GL, and welcome to STS. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I remember reading up on EO extraction a while back. Kits aren't too expensive if you shop around.
