Define "Spikiest"; how should I go about measuring the "Spikiness" of my cacti in order to ensure the most amount of painful pleasure possible?

Considering that i've already been doing this all along already, it prolly wont be too much of a holiday for me... BUUUUT It is a good excuse to come out to the world about this dirty little habit of mine...
