Just a little about myself.
I've been into plants for many decades now.
At this point I collect and grow extremes in plants, though there are many "ordinary" and wayward plants that are a part of the community.
Most painful, smelliest, largest, smallest, tastiest, most active (in all respects).
For some reason I'd never been introduced to this site, I was on Gardenweb back when you could trade most anything, then Dave's Garden, but they've all fallen short on selection and a sort of fellowship outside of traditional mainstream gardening. I've been trading seeds, plants and fungal cultures for decades.
I've got a strong background in fungi and their cultivation.
Traveled a lot and always did my best to see how differing cultures integrated plants and fungi into their lives, even just the edibles.
That's pretty much me :-)

Thanks for all the welcomes!
I have a question. I collect the nasty of the nasties as far as plants.
Been doing it for decades now.
How best to get either a manchineel tree (Hippomane mancinella) sprout or viable seed/fruit?
I can offer some fresh Gympie Gympie seeds (Dendrocnide moroides) to a like minded collector in exchange.
Really the question here is not will you guys trade with me, but where do I post this for best results?
It seems that many threads and topics are moving really lethargically, if at all.
Thanks,
RandomBob

I've noticed it is already in your wish list so that's a good start.
Also, there is a thread specifically for requests:
http://sharetheseeds.me/forum/index.php?board=26.0
Also, there is a thread where both of these species have already been mentioned. I found it with the "search" feature. It's an old thread but I'd add to the conversation there as several of the members are still active and might be interested. I've no interest in the plant but I am interested in your perceptions about the plant so I encourage you to post there:

With a web search, I've noticed that 3 people are looking for it on Daves garden.
Many of us are looking to find rare species, including me. Still on the chase. I wish you success.

Howdy randombob!
Gotta feeling we may have spoken recently?
Regardless I am sure you will fit in fine here.
Enjoy your stay!

Thanks Plantlight for the advice and pointers.
I will follow your suggestions.
Ha! Fairdinkumseeds?
I thought I was in stealth mode!
As you can tell I'm reinvigorated to seek out all the plants I've only dreamed of causing me great pain and misery through some miscalculation of my own (temporarily of course) :)
