Title: Chilito from CenCal
Post by: chilito on November 06, 2015, 11:20:02 PM
Hello all, I am a plant sci major at local university in central California(zone9b). My current interests are in breeding new and unique types of berry crops! I am working with alpine strawberries, native wolfberry(goji relative),  fruiting honeysuckles, cacti, and many more. I have access to greenhouses at school and at home. I hope to make many friends and help share some of the unique germplasm I have accumulated so far. Would like to find a couple peolpe to really get deep into talking intergeneric hybrids using standard techniques(no gmo)! Hope to have lots of fun here and make new friends! Hey happyconcacti I made it!

You and I will have lots to discuss. I have several varieties of strawberries I have bred. And honeyberry! I would love some wolfberry seed. We shall talk soon. Welcome aboard.

Happyconcacti, I just picked up some(a lot) of misplant's seeds and a bridge cut, will have little ones to graft soon and then share!

Ian, I have a black fruited native wolfberry that I bet will beat the pants of all the rest, its really a super dark purple. Seeds ready now will have rooted cuts next spring or early summer.

Tragic, looking forward to our future conversations,  and yes when able to share here wolfberry seeds will head your way!

Everyone else, thanks for the warm welcome, I will try and check back every few days!
